The members of St. Patrick Parish Outreach are dedicated to bringing the spirit of Christ to the members of the parish, who through age or infirmity, are no longer able physically to participate in the life of the parish. The members of Outreach visit the sick and homebound members of our parish, whether they are in their own homes, in a nursing facility, or an assisted living center. Each Outreach member visits a person at least once a month. The visit lasts as long as the person being visited wishes. As any good friend, the Outreach member is there as a companion to offer support by listening and talking to the person being visited. If so desired, Outreach members will pray with the person, and may distribute sacramentals, such as prayer cards, scapulars and rosaries.
If you know of someone who would like to have an Outreach member visit with them, or if you are interested in becoming a member of the Outreach ministry, please contact the Rectory at (603) 882-2262 for more information.
